Zahra's Art...All about Pink Energy

I love to see my world in Pink

Shades of deep pink such as magenta are effective in neutralizing disorder and violence. Pink provides feeling of calmness, love, carefree, tenderness and acceptance. It is also the colour of happiness as seen in most of Zahra's paintings. Zahra is a cheerful 12 years old who was born with Down Syndrome. She is now a new member in Tutti Art Club. She is from Iran and now living in Malaysia with her family. She started painting about two months ago. Everything around her must always be in shades of pink. Pink makes her smile, pink makes her happy. "I want a pink elephant" I want a pink bear", I want a pink cat".

Pink Energy gives her a lot of personal satisfaction in her paintings.
I am painting a Pink Flower for my mother

My Pink Mommy Cat with her Pink Kitty

This my mother Leili, she loves my painting. I can see a big SMILE on her pretty face when she sees my beautiful work.

Ms Seeling is my art teacher. I enjoy learning art with her. She says i can paint any colour i like in my work. Art is about making myself feel happy and free.
This is a painting of a Polar Bear with her flying friend Pinky. They love to play in the snow

This is a painting of myself. I like to see myself with long hair

Looks like Me???
I love to paint myself without wearing my glasses

I am proud of my work!!!

Imperfection=Perfection Art by Jason and Bernard

Does it really matter if i can't paint a "perfect" leaf or draw a "perfect" circle?

Learning to draw is not an easy hobby for Jason and Bernard.
They have never been exposed to Art during their growing years.
Both of them have learning disabilities.
They have difficulties drawing fine work, therefore most of their work are more towards abstract art.

Now Jason is learning to draw simple shapes like leaf with different styles and Bernard is learning to draw circles with different colours.

Active Imagination by Suen Yi

Suen Yi's Art is spontaneous. All the images on her canvas appeared spontaneously as she engaged different types of artistic expression. Sometimes her art shows a about her dream and hope. Sometimes is about things she  learns at school or maybe things see enjoys at home like having a big jug of icy cold orange juice. She comes with a imaginative mind and draws what she thinks at that moment. Though in the beginning coming to class was not an easy task for her and her parents. Now Suen Yi is enjoying her  lesson and able to paint with joy every week.

Youth learned skill of handling and controlling the brush when painting on small space.
Simple instructions and guidelines were given during the painting process.

Youth learned to paint and study about spacing to create their work.

The first session of participants during the painting process. All of them were having a great time painting their own bowl for Christmas.

Esabelle- a new guest in Tutti Art Club. A creative and imaginative mind.

Esabelle is 8 years old this year.
She joined Tutti Art Club 8 weeks ago.
Art is a fun lesson for her to explore her creative and imaginative mind.
She enjoys coming to class every week and loves to paint on canvas.
Esabelle has a free flow of ideas of what she likes to create
during her art lesson and it helped her to visualize her imagination on canvas.
A two way flow of communication makes teaching and learning more
interesting for her. Sometimes she also acted out the expression of how she wants her
characters in her art. Her paintings are mostly on little girls, furry animals and sea creatures.
Her choice of colours are usually very "eye candy".
Sweet and Soft like her.

Jason Liew. A new member in Tutti Art Club. What was impossible before is possible NOW!

Jason started painting two months ago. He enjoys his lessons and has been progressing very well in his art class. It is never too late for him to learn how to paint. All he needs is the courage to go beyond what he thought was "impossible". Everyone should be given a chance to experience Art in their own way. He has uncovered his hidden potentials after 27 years. What was "impossible" before is "possible" Now.
